The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the mechanics of conveyors in a wide range of industrial markets such as; aggregate, cement, bulk shipping terminals, recycling, hard rock mining, asphalt and or coal-fired power.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and increasing sales and market share with customers in our Central Territory (Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, and Tennessee).
  • Maintain and build relationships with customers by solving problems and creating value for our customers.
  • Educate and train all our distributors / customers on the features and benefits of ASGCO® products and services.
  • Ensure technical service requirements for the customers are met.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership abilities.
  • Generate new business with new or existing customers.
  • Create materials for and conduct sales presentations to customers.
  • Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customers concerns.

Qualifications

  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, organized, detailed and focused
  • Industry and sales experience
  • Computer skills including spreadsheet applications and Microsoft Office Suite
  • 3-7 years outside sales experience preferred

Marketing Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Assist advertising sales team in administrative tasks, including, but not limited to: marketing mailings, artwork follow-ups, client deliveries, lead research, etc.
  • Assist in developing and managing our company website, web store, social media and SEO
  • Assist in creating daily social media content campaigns. Knowledge of all social media platforms, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook etc.
  • Organize trade shows, to ensure prompt delivery of exhibit materials, sample products and show sponsorship.
  • Create marketing e-blast and collect analysis reports.
  • Design, create and organize online and print materials and campaigns.
  • Writing/editing company press release, case studies, and new product announcements for publication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, 3-5 years in marketing.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of CorelDraw and WordPress/SEO.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Website and app development is a PLUS
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills as well as the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Press Brake Operator

Location: Nazareth, PA

The job of Press Brake Operator is done for the purpose/s of meeting demands and completing work orders
in a timely manner by producing parts by setting up and operating a press brake machine of required items;
and ensuring safety and resolving immediate safety concerns.


Responsibilities:

  • Load proper tooling into press brake by entering instructions, setting tool registers, calculating requirements including basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
  • Verifies settings by measuring position
  • Maintains specifications by observing machine operations, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes; and adjusting and reprogramming controls, sharpening and replacing worn tools, adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
  • Must be familiar and able to setup and operate other sheet metal forming equipment as job requirements demand
  • Work well with limited supervision
  • Ensuring you adhere to all ASGCO policies and procedures
  • Following and accountable for Safety policy and procedures
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
  • When necessary provide training on all aspects of the press brake.

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience as a Press Brake Operator
  • Must be able to read blue print
  • Have knowledge and skills to perform job using band saws, grinders, break, shear, drill press, chop saw, part painting
  • Have knowledge in basic math or geometry and trigonometry
  • Read a variety of manuals, and following prescribed formats with the ability to inform to others and solve practical problems.
  • Be able to maintain accurate records
  • Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi task in fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Have the ability to lift 50lbs to 100lbs., bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time, significant fine finger dexterity.
  • MUST be a team player with a good attitude

Working conditions:

  • Frequently exposed to regulated noise, cold working conditions also exposed to smells that are within the guideline.
  • May be required to work to overtime on as needed bases.

Vacation

ASGCO® offers a very generous vacation and holiday package. In most cases, it exceeds the industry by one week. Based on length of service, you earn up to four weeks of vacation. ASGCO® provides 7 paid holidays: ½ day New Years’ Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, ½ day Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Financial Programs – 401K Plan

ASGCO’s professionally managed 401K plan allows an employee to set aside up to 25 percent of his/her pre-tax income as savings for retirement. The plan offers a number of investment choices for these savings, from fixed rate of return investments to more speculative growth funds. ASGCO® matches up to 25% of the first 6% the employee contributes.

Health Insurance

ASGCO® offers a comprehensive group health insurance plan which includes medical, dental and vision coverage, along with a prescription program. Our plan covers most medically necessary procedures, ASGCO® pays 50 percent in-network and preventative dental and vision at 100 percent. The employee co-payments and deductibles are very reasonable and competitive. An employee is eligible for the group health insurance after 90 days of employment.

Life Insurance

ASGCO® provides company sponsored life insurance for all employees. The amount of coverage is based on the employee’s annual salary. Employees may voluntarily purchase additional term life insurance.

Short Term / Long Term Disability

ASGCO® provided company sponsored short term disability insurance for all employees. The amount of coverage is 60 percent of your pay on your 8th day on until your return to work duty.

Service Awards

ASGCO® considers that it is important to acknowledge and reward it’s long serving employees. Therefore, those employees who have completed 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service with ASGCO®, with no break in service, will be entitled to receive a gift card as an award in recognition of their commitment and loyalty to the organization. This service award is applicable to all employees regardless of role employment status.

Company Parties

Company parties are hosted a couple of times a year, which helps bolster moral and encourage employees to socialize outside of the work environment. Children and spouses are invited to most of the parties furthering our family-based culture.
